Alistair Simmers is the Plant Manager for Methanex New Zealand, responsible for all activities related to the safe and reliable manufacture of methanol across the New Zealand assets. Alistair has over 25 years’ experience across a number of different organisations in the oil and gas industry within Taranaki. He believes in the importance of strong people leadership, a key part of which is the ongoing safety, health and wellbeing of teams across an organisation. Alistair joined the Board of BeSafe Taranaki in 2020.
