General Manager Operations Lower North Island

Scott was appointed to the General Manager Operations – Lower North Island role in July 2021. He joined the Lower North Island team from his previous roles in the Waikato as Operations Manager at the Fonterra Te Rapa and Waitoa Manufacturing sites. He has a passion for Dairy and people and has been able to influence change in key areas of Safety, Quality and People capability ion his times on these sites. His current role covers the Whareroa, Pahiatua, and Longburn manufacturing sites, and the associated milk collection south of Taupo.
Scott completed a Bachelor of Food Technology at Massey University, and joined the Cooperative in 1999 as part of the graduate recruitment program where he completed a Masters of Dairy Science and Technology also at Massey University. Through his career he has filled a number of roles through NZ Manufacturing in Operations, Technical, and Supply Chain.
Scott, his wife Melissa, and two teenage daughters have relocated to New Plymouth and now call it home.
